Unique Types
If you are a designer or just interested in fonts, check out this project called Unique Types which is developing fonts inspired by children with disabilities supported by the AACD (Brazilian Association for the Welfare of the Handicapped Children). Right now it is still in stage 1, which is designers being called to create the fonts. Stage 2: advertisers use, stage 3: media coverage, stage 4: everyone uses it. I can't wait to see what they are going to be and since they are covered by Creative Commons I'll bet anyone can get them.
