I'm Blue
Rotterdam, 2006, why is this building blue? Well:
"This was once one of the most unseen blocks of houses in Rotterdam, and by applying a layer of only 2 micron of blue paint onto it, it became Rotterdam’s most photographed one. By redecorating this block, which was built in the first years of the 20th century, people start looking again at what was and is there, and maybe think about what they will get in return.
It also puts in perspective blocks of houses as such, architectural 'fashions' and demographic processes like city migrations, by making those blocks look like toy houses or archetypal buildings on an architect's maquette."

Zhang Huan
Zhang Huan is an artist that does a lot of things, but my favorite are these giant sculptures that are as epically creepy as they are big. Defiantly check out the 2008 giant series and the ash heads.

Crystal Light National Aerobic Championships
I had to learn the HTML to embed videos that had embedding disabled to bring you this, but it was so worth it.
More from the 1986 Crystal Light National Aerobic Championships: Opening Men Solo Texas Club
Unfortunately, 2006 saw an end to "popular" international aerobic competition, which is a shame seeing how far we have come since 1986.

Groupons
I don't know if anyone else uses Groupon, but I do and I really like it. It's a free site that sends you deals to your inbox that you can print out as coupons. Basically, they go to places they like and ask if they want to give a big group discount. You don't have to go as a group obviously, but if enough people on Groupon say yes, you get a certificate for your deal. We've gotten 1/2 off resteraunts, pizza tours, manicures, and tons of other stuff.

My Favorite William Shatner Song
If anyone one was wondering "Hey Idaho Bob, what's your favorite William Shatner song?" (besides "Has Been" and "Rocketman" of course) Well, it is obviously "Closer" featuring Lemon Jelly. This video is not the official music video (because that would be crazy: an official William Shatner music video?) but it was the only one I could find. But, I suppose, being the only one, that kinda' makes it the official one....

BB Guns + Kitty = Really Sad
This cat was shot with a BB gun and it was paralyzed from the waist down. Apparently, it was still quite happy but it looks so sad as it waddles over. The floors look nice and clean though.

Stem Cells Rule!
Another amazing thing to watch out for and I hope will stop being a religious issue because it well help humanity so much, stem cells. If anyone still thinks it's a bad idea, you've got something wrong with you or you read too many sci-fi novels.

Keep An Eye On This Tech
Using photos from the web, software engineers have developed a way to use cloud computing to make rough 3D models of entire cities. Keep an eye out for this type of web based content turning into more and more interesting things.
For another, more controlled, example see the 2009 Inauguration photo section of CNN done by the Microsoft project PhotoSynth.

Can You Tell Me How To Get To Sesame Street?
To get to Sesame Street is actually pretty easy if you live in NYC: you take the R train to Queens and walk a few blocks. The RocketBoom team went off to go talk to some of the locals and see what it takes to make a show that has managed to stay relevant and popular for 40 years. BTW, Sesame St. is a non-profit but it's the happiest group of non-profit employees I have ever met.
