Bright Bike

Today I went and did an interview for RocketBoom on Bright Bike down at EyeBeam.  Bright Bike uses retroflective scotchlight vinyl stickers to cover bikes in an extremely peculiar material to keep cyclists safe at night.  Basically, it looks black under normal conditions but when flashed or hit with headlights, it inverts to solid white.  You can also get it in other colors like green, orange, red, and yellow that work the same but add a little color to the white hue.

Best part about the creators is they are not doing it for profit.  They are DIYers and give you links to the manufacturer of the material or you can buy it from the EyeBeam bookstore in pre-cut strips if you want to for $5 more than buying it from the manufacturer.

Here are 2 shots I took today on the HPX using a photo flash to get the idea and check more out here and here.
